ROSEHALL FARMHOUSE

Globetrotting master sommelier John Szabo has spent a lifetime exploring and reporting about wine regions on every continent of the planet. A quarter of a century of winemaking has by now established PEC's potential to be among North America’s best, an exciting story John has been following from the very earliest days. Luckily, no measure of success has managed to wrangle the County's stubborn hold on its backcountry, down-to-earth rural charm. No chateaus insight but it’s real, and therein lies the attraction. When warm childhood memories were layered on, of camping at Sandbanks, climbing dunes, cooling off in Lake Ontario, fireside chats, endless summers spent with family woven into indelible images.  You might even say it was inevitable that the yearning for some acreage and to put roots down resulted in the old farmhouse set on a few rugged acres by a creek. The County has much to offer wine lovers and culinary explorers, beach dwellers, active vacationers, artists and naturalists. We're certain you’ll find your reason to love the County as we do.
